SEAHORSE.NET is a content management system development framework based on XML and Microsoft .NET technologies. Designed by Oxinet, it comprises a comprehensive web-based administration interface, an object-oriented database system, an API and web templates for development of websites in Visual Studio.NET / aspx pages.

• The built-in data structures support native XML import/export and are fully compatible with e-GIF specifications while being infinitely extensible to allow creation and indexing of novel content types.
• Complies with accessibility and usability standards set by the government
• All content may be uploaded and managed by non-technical users. All templates and stylesheets may be modified by technical users.
• Compliance with the data protection act 1998, ensuring full compliance for interactive areas.
• Journal logging and versioning ensures that the development process of any content may be tracked and reported – complying with the requirements newly enforced Freedom of Information act.
• The form processing engine allows non-technical authors to create and manage their own interactive forms
• The template processing model allows for custom development of new programs and templates by both inexperienced authors and experienced ASPX programmers alike. A huge API is available to ease tasks for the programmer, and it is even possible to develop ASP.NET web custom controls or new form handling utilities.
• The template-processing engine is optimised for high performance and stability, ensuring fast response times for sites with several million page impressions per month.
• Templating system is completely separated from content, allowing for creation of templates based on CSS stylesheets, ASPX programming or a combination of the two

Option 1: Seahorse Host

By hosting your site or part of it under our “Seahorse Host” scheme, you can update your website through your internet browser, and get high-end Seahorse functionally.

Option 2: Seahorse Enterprise

Seahorse Enterprise is aimed at customers who want to host and manage their own internet connection. With its fine grained permission architecture and object control, you can utilise Seahorse technology with an existing corporate web site, or create new e-commerce solutions.
